Anti Ragging Committee

 

Anti-Ragging committee SNGCLS Kollam, held a meeting On 11/10/2019, at 3pm a meeting was held at the principal’s office. The meeting started at 1:30pm. 

 

The main agenda of the meeting was regarding the approval of the previous meeting of the Anti-ragging committee. The meeting also laid emphasis on making a plan on anti-ragging awareness which needs to be conducted at the college prior to the induction programme of the junior batch. The meeting also made special care regarding the anti-ragging squad in close observation in and around the campus. The meeting had approved the suggestions put forward by the committee in the previous meeting. The committee observed that there were no ragging complaints filed by any stakeholders which reflects a ragging free campus. The committee had organised an anti-ragging awareness class for the Second Year BA,BBA,B.Com LLB students before the first year batch commenced. The members of the anti-ragging squad were:

The Committee was of opinion as to make a public disclosure of the details of members of the committee along with their contact details which encourages the Junior students in reporting any forms of ragging, if any happens. The members were also advised to make rounds during the college hours which helps in preventing any incidents of ragging and also in creating awareness on ragging. Anti-Ragging committee SNGCLS Kollam, held a meeting On 09/10/2020, at 2:30pm a meeting was held at the principal’s office. 

 

The main agenda of the meeting was regarding general discussion on Anti-Ragging regulations and its role in the pandemic session 2020-2021.The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. The report did not have any complaints regarding ragging. The members of the meeting decided that even though classes were online students should be apprised of Anti- Ragging norms and the DO’s and DON’TS of ragging . During the orientation/ induction of the junior students, they will be made aware of the Anti- Ragging Zero tolerance of the college authorities towards ragging. The members of the anti-ragging squad were:

The main agenda of the meeting was regarding. The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. The report did not have any complaints regarding ragging. The meeting was regarding implementation on an anti ragging awareness programme to be conducted at the college as well as to re-constitute the squad of Anti- Ragging .The meeting also laid emphasis to conducting an awareness programme in the month of November. The meeting concluded by approving the minutes of the previous meeting as well as formation of new anti ragging squad The members of the anti-ragging squad were:

The main agenda of the meeting was regarding. The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. The report did not have any complaints regarding ragging. The meeting was regarding assigning roles and responsibilities to the members. Special efforts were taken in educating the students regarding the UGC ragging guidelines. The meeting concluded by approving the minutes of the previous meeting as well as formation of new anti ragging squad The members of the anti-ragging squad were:
